The ALTITUDE Energy Suite (ES) is a comprehensive energy monitoring and targeting solution providing organisations of any size with energy analysis, budgeting, reporting, exception reporting, and financial analysis. The integrated ALTITUDE ES delivers powerful energy analysis through the simplicity of a Web browser, enabling effective energy management from any location with access to the corporate IT network. Once configured, the impressive exception reporting will instantaneously identify any abnormal occurrences in energy profiles and identify any remedial action required, ensuring facilities operate to their maximum efficiency.

The energy landscape

Steeply rising energy and utility costs, new building and environmental regulations and the need to meet ever growing user demands are increasingly challenging building managers, on a daily basis. Surprisingly, 'Energy Managers' often spend most of their time gathering, collating and checking metered data rather than taking actions to actually save energy and reduce costs. The ALTITUDE ES not only collates data from a variety of sources, in a multitude of formats, it also converts this 'data' into 'knowledge' ensuring you can make informed business decisions to maximise your energy savings across all your buildings and sites.

Open and scalable solutions

Standard and customized reports are displayed via Web browsers as a variety of graphs and tables, utilizing existing, common IT infrastructure. ALTITUDE ES can also produce and distribute customized reports on a scheduled basis directly to your email server, enabling you to have the data you need, when you need it. Whatever the size and location of your buildings, ALTITUDE ES will help streamline the energy management process and assist in minimizing energy usage.

Highly customisable

ALTITUDE ES comes with a variety of report templates and an optional powerful Report Designer. Once a report template has been created, it can be added to ALTITUDE ES for any user with appropriate access rights to generate and view the report. The report can be displayed within a standard Web browser or as a Portable Document Format (PDF).

Comprehensive energy analysis

From the data collected, ALTITUDE ES will pinpoint precisely how much energy is being used and where the usage is taking place. Detailed energy analysis can then be reported by building, department, tenant or even by shift. This level of detail will provide the data to determine where energy is being wasted and where it can be saved. Armed with this information energy efficiency improvements can then be deployed throughout your organisation.

ALTITUDE integration

Energy data is usually available from a variety of systems or directly from meters installed throughout a building, campus or portfolio of facilities. The metered data can be collated via a range of communications methods including LAN's, WAN's, GPRS, GSM and PSTN. The ALTITUDE NetServers are fluent in most Building Management System (BMS) protocols and will automatically gather, calculate, normalize and store the information in its own database. The secured energy data is then automatically uploaded to the ALTITUDE ES for reporting and distribution purposes. Through an ALTITUDE Enterprise Automation System real-time control can be linked to energy strategies to maximise savings across building portfolios.

The ALTITUDE ES modules are built around a common framework and a browser based architecture. ALTITUDE ES can be deployed on single PC, a corporate network or across the Internet.

Energy Analysis

Comprehensive graphical analysis of energy data including degree day analysis, specific energy consumption, regression analysis and CUSUM.

Energy Budgeting

Create energy budgets and display energy consumption against budget in both graphical and tabular form.

Financial Analysis

Define and maintain complex seasonal time of day (STOD) tariffs. View energy consumption in monetary terms.

Data Quality Check

Validate meter readings and ensure that no missing or unexpected readings exist within the database.

Calculated Meters

Create calculated meters with a user definable formula based on actual meters. Use this function to calculate plant efficiency, compare sub-meters with a main meter or aggregate multiple meters together.

Exception Reporting

Create energy alarms for notification by report, email or SMS text messaging.

Meter Readings

Import high frequency metering data or manually enter readings taken by hand.

Data Exchange

Exchange data between ALTITUDE and other systems. Import data from meter logging equipment, building management systems through the ALTITUDE NetServers, or directly from spreadsheets.

User Management

Maintain a full list of users including access rights to application features and specific sites within the database.

Reporting (Option)

Design reports including text, tables and charts using the Report Designer. Integrate new reports into ALTITUDE ES and schedule their production and distribution by email.

Invoice Validation (Option)

Enter supplier invoice data and perform validation with independently collected metering data.
